COVID-19 Service Update

6th August 2020

We continue to dispense as normal at Express Pharmacy.

DPD Next Day - The service is functioning, however, currrently DPD Next Day is not a guaranteed service. For certain medications that are time sensitive, DPD Next Day is not an option for delivery.

Royal Mail Special Delivery before 1pm - As far as we are aware, the special delivery service has been functioning as normal.

UPS Standard - This service is not yet a guaranteed service for Next Day, however, this will be changing as soon as Coronavirus restrictions have been lifted.

UPS Local Collect - We are now able to restart offering the next day local collection service again safely.

Local Collection (London) - Orders can still be collected (free of charge) directly from our Pharmacy - 17 Church Road, London,W3 8PU.

Please understand that the pandemic has put extreme resource constraints on delivery networks up and down the country. Some of these constraints are still present and might still be affecting some deliveries.

Unfortunately, this is not in our control. We are, however, doing our utmost to ensure that you have enough delivery options and that the service remains as efficient as ever.

Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays using DPD will be dispatched the following working day (this excludes Bank Holidays)

Status: We are currently processing and dispatching treatments as normal.

Due to the increased demand on National delivery networks, and in particular Royal Mail, we have introduced DPD as a Next-Day delivery option.

The DPD network is currently operating without any known delays.

Orders dispatched by Royal Mail may experience a delay of 1-2 days. If you have ordered using Royal Mail as your delivery method and have yet to receive your parcel, please allow at least 2 extra days for delivery. You can contact us at help@expresspharmacy.co.uk for further support in tracking your parcel.

We strongly advise you to select DPD Next-Day if your order is urgent or required the next day.

Status: We are currently processing and dispatching treatments as normal. Due to the increased demand on delivery networks, your delivery may take a little longer than expected. Whilst this is regrettably out of our control, we are working overtime to provide alternative delivery options in the next few days.

As both an online pharmacy and a community pharmacy, we would like to reassure you that we will continue to provide pharmaceutical services during what is a critical and unprecedented period. We ask you to bear with us and other critical service providers as we work to ensure that you receive your medication safely.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has created significant disruption to national delivery networks. Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure that you receive your medication as quickly as possible.

Whilst we continue to process consultations, and dispatch treatments as normal, this has meant that deliveries have been arriving later than expected. In order to combat this, we will be rolling out additional delivery methods in the next few days.
